Abortion Alternatives

Abortion isn't the only option.

You have other choices. Check out the information below to learn more...

Adoption

Putting your baby up for adoption is a wonderful, compassionate option.

You accomplish two kind acts in the process.

You give a family the opportunity to raise the child that you created. About 10% of women have difficulty to get or stay pregnant in the United States. This means that there are millions of women that struggle with fertility. Your baby could be cherished by someone that is unable to have a child of their own.
Your child also gets the chance to grow up. By carrying your baby to term, you allow them to see the sunshine, smell the flowers, touch the grass, and hear waves crashing. The world is their oyster. They can accomplish anything. Their dreams can come true if you can give them the opportunity.

Raise the Baby Yourself

The thought of raising a baby may be scary. There are a lot of different concerns that people develop.  Finances, family disapproval, and lack of experience are all fairly common worries. That doesn't mean that you wouldn't be an exceptional parent. You're a rock star! You can do anything that you can set your mind to. Raising a baby is a fun, rewarding experience, and you have the opportunity to partake in the miraculous gift of motherhood. At least promise me that you'll think about it?

Both options give your baby a chance. Your child deserves to exist.

Georgia Urges Federal Judge to Dismiss "Heartbeat Bill" Lawsuit

Don't Go Breakin' Georgia's Heart(Beat Bill) Georgia made a compelling argument when the state asked a federal judge not to block the heartbeat bill that's set to take effect Jan. 1.  Attorneys representing the state argued in court Monday that the bill "advances Georgia's unique and substantial constitutional interest in protecting unborn human lives, in addition to its interests in protecting maternal health, encouraging childbirth, and safe safeguarding the integrity of the medical profession." They went on to defend the law stating that it is indeed "constitutional and justified." What You Need to Know If the bill passes, pregnant women would be unable to obtain an abortion once a heartbeat can be detected (generally around 6 weeks). The law does contain exceptions. A woman would still be allowed to receive an abortion in the case of rape or incest if a police report was previously filed.  Exceptions would also be available for wo...

Florida Lawmakers Pass 15 Week Abortion Ban

Abortions after 15 weeks may soon outlawed in the state of Florida. The news comes on Thursday night after the Florida Senate passed a monumental bill in a 23-15 party-line vote.  The bill is now headed to the desk of Governor Ron DeSantis who is expected to sign the bill into law. His spokesperson Christina Pushaw is on record saying “Governor DeSantis is pro-life and has voiced support for the concepts in this bill."  Starting July 1, doctors in the state will be prohibited from performing abortions after the 15 week mark if the governor decides to endorse this decision.   While the bill aims to protect preborn children, there are still some exceptions. These include "irreversible physical impairment" or death to the mother as well as fatal abnormality.  The abortion bill is often perceived as reasonable although  rape, incest and trafficking are not current exceptions. Lawmakers believe that 15 weeks is enough time to make a decision befor...
